Ecosystem

A territory in the sense more broad term, is an environment in which all living beings compete and coexist, taking what each one of them needs to survive. It should be used so as not to disturb the balance needed to guarantee the existence of those same living beings, i.e. not unbalance the environment. The purpose of this isn’t to provide an overview of the different uses that are made of the territory, but if an analysis of the implications of certain interventions of man may cause in the environment. We will refer in particular to the hydrogeological aspect and other related works which form an integral part of the presence of man on the environment that surrounds it. The gabion works combine with gardens and constructions materials and the media over which we will try are the gabions, mattresses and nets of woven wire, which have been used for more than one century for the construction of hydraulic and road works.

By their very nature, these materials have the ability to integrate with the surrounding terrain, in the environment, thus ensuring the success and durability of the work carried out. It should be noted that its extreme simplicity, sometimes seems to not be in keeping with the era of technological innovations that we live. However, the reality is that his ability to free drainage and tolerate settlements, so as to promote the development of vegetation; all this together with his great strength, allows us to document their great reliability and its harmony with the environment.
